We've just released InFlight for Android, which adds a moving map with airports, terrain and obstacle warnings to the Primary Flight Display offered by Flight Instruments, as well as a clever list of nearest airports and a 'Direct to' navigation function. Just like for the iPhone, databases are available worldwide (except Africa) for about $1 per month.
Like Flight Instruments, InFlight can be used in portrait or landscape mode, and offers a choice of display units to accommodate ultra-light and 'metric' pilots. It works on Android V2.1 and above, and runs beautifully on tablets like the Motorola Xoom.
